At 7pm this Thursday the 17th, Frederick Campaign for Liberty will host its January chapter meeting at Mistero Bar and Grille. This month's Bill of Rights discussion continues the series with the 5th amendment, written to protect your right to due process and against cases of legal "double jeopardy," and to ensure just compensation when private property is taken for public use.
Howard Wooldridge of Citizens Opposing Prohibition (COP) is a former career police officer and Frederick resident who makes annual presentations to every member of Congress. Informing our national legislature of the legally and socially perverse consequences that have accompanied the failure of the "war on drugs" since 2005, Mr. Wooldridge will share his vision for a freer and safer national drug policy. Regarding our recent efforts to protect liberty in Frederick county, updates will center around our efforts to repeal SB236 and "Plan Maryland".
Please join us at 7pm at Mistero for an evening of activism, education, fellowship and great food!
